So, once again its been awhile, but this time, i have something really exciting to show.
I'm another step closer in.. what seems to be the unnecessarily long road.. in opening up my etsy store.
Ive made labels that i can attatch to my products that i make!!
I cant believe i never realised how easy it is to make them before!! all you need is a printer and some t-shirt transfer paper!! Im so excited!
(Im not sure whats with the sideways photos, they arent that way on my computer..)

Ive been shopping!!
Its been awhile since ive gone to a patchwork shop to buy some fabric... i didnt realise exactly how much i missed it until i was in there. touching all the fabric.. looking at all the notions.. i ended up spending more money than i wanted to... but isnt that always the case!! I got two beautiful jelly rolls, two hunny buns and some hexagon templates that ive been wanting to buy for a long time.
Self covered buttons are fast becoming my absolute favourite thing at the moment its so fun and satisfying when you pop out that finished button from the plastic mold!!
That little white thing in the photograph is a point turner, and id have to say it makes my life so much easier! It would have to be a close second to the self covered buttons on my favourite things list!
Not much else to update.. ive been a bit sick lately with a cold that just wont go away. Been working hard on a belated birthday present for my Mum!! i will post some sneak peak pictures later on when theres some better daylight for pictures.

Changes
Hi everyone.
Decided it was time to have a bit of a revamp around here and a name change. Amanda Naomi is the label im going to start using when i sell things on etsy, so i figured may as well change my blog to reflect that, so that people will know its the same person, to ease confusion.
Not alot has been happening, ive been struck down with a nasty chest infection. Chest is in alot of pain, feels like it has a 50kg weight pressing down on the middle of it, and theres that irritating cough that comes and goes, so im on antibiotics and off work. Hope it goes away soon.
I do have something quite awesome to share tho, that has cheered me up quite a bit. My boyfriend and i have decided now isnt the time to be moving out to our own place, as he doesnt have a full time job due to still being at uni. So we figured we would end up fighting all the time due to having no money at all!!! So were staying with his mum till the end of the year. Which is cool, except i have very minimal space to craft. So i decided a reorganise was in order. We've rearranged our second room to look more like a lounge, moved the bookshelf in from the bedroom, and it looks fantastic!! Also gives me more room in our bedroom for my crafting..hehehe. One dilema i had tho, was not having a perfect area to sit my sewing maching on and sew, ive been sewing on the floor, and.. it just doesnt cut it.
So i recieve a call yesterday while im on the couch watching cartoons from my boyfriends mum saying shes found something that might work at the second hand shop and for me to come down and have a look...
She found something that might work alright.. she found something perfect..

The lift works perfectly!!
The top draw has cute little compartments!
And the bottom draw is the depth of two, perfect for my glass jars!!Im so happy, its perfect, and it fits into the space i have perfectly as well. Now all i have to do is get into decoration mode and make the place look more like a craft corner, bye bye bare walls lol!!
And just because a post isnt as fun without something cute to look at.. here are some more coasters..these ones have matching placemats but i dont have a photo of them yet..

Had an amazing find at ALDI today. Perfect for storing fabric and the like.. i loved it so much i had to go back a second time and get another!! Will be perfect for my new sewing room when we move out!!!

NEW NEW NEW
So ive started working and that takes up all my time now.. well.. it feels like it does.. seeing as i have to leave home an hour and a half before i start just to get there on time. However i do have some new things.. like.. a new haircut.. that i gave to myself..
AND something i am MOST excited about.. my boyfriends grandmother gave me her old overlocker!! ive been wanting one for ages now but had resigned myself to the fact that i just cant afford it if were going to move out to our own place.. so i spent today making myself something..
Pictures are a bit bad but its the best i could do i was home alone lol. well not much else to say right now.. off to watch a movie before i need to get myself off to bed!!

Back into the swing of things
So ive been a bit slack keeping things updated on here.. thats basically because i havent had anything new to update. I dont have much of a sewing space at the moment so ive been finding it very hard to find the motivation to create anything new.. however.. i start my new job on monday!! YAY cant wait so i decided, since i have three weeks "in classroom training" to attend, i would make something cool to make it a bit more fun.
Heres my notebook cover and matching pencil case! now i just have to go to smiggle and buy some cute pens and highlighters to put in it!!
hopefully i will be able to update more frequently now i will have a job and money!! also..the other great thing about my job.. a few blocks up from the tram stop where i have to get off.. is one of the biggest spotlights ive seen in my life!! ahhh so exciting i can see most of my pay going there!! hehe not really.. i think id get into a bit of trouble if i did that.. but one can dream :P
